Tennis Round Robin Mixer

Bring a racket, a snack to share, and a smile, and be prepared to have some fun! Adult players of all levels are welcome. This is a great way to meet new members and get reacquainted with your neighbors. Prizes will be awarded! Water and balls will be provided.

Limited to the first 16 players (adults only) to sign up – email tennis@postoakrecreation.com to sign up.

UPDATE: The date and time for the tennis round robin is this Saturday, September 3rd at 7:00pm.

All Things Happening

There is so much getting ready to happen at PORA and we are excited about it!  Just to give you a taste of things coming up:

  • Membership – you have a few weeks left to get the reduced price rate!  If you haven’t signed up yet, now is the time! Click here to go to our online sign-up page.  If you would rather print, fill out, and mail or drop off your application and payment you can do that too – click here to get the form online or stop by the PORA pool and get a form from the bulletin board.
  • Polar Bear Plunge – May 1st from 2pm – 6pm.  We’ll have food, fun and live music!  It’s also BYOB.  This is a meet and greet event as well so if you haven’t joined PORA yet, you can come on down and sign up and still get the early-bird sign up rate.
  • Swim Team – sign up is going on now and you need to get your swim goggles on and head over to the Swim Team page to sign up!
  • Yoga – we are currently getting ready to offer sunrise yoga down by the pool.  Get your chakras opened up and funnel your chi for the day!  We’ll have information available online very soon (maybe even today, if the lazy webmaster* can get to it).
  • Bootcamp – yes indeed, we said Bootcamp!  Summer isn’t all about lazing around the pool sipping drinks and eating ice cream; we’ll have our own PORA bootcamp with our own drill instructors!  Click here for more information and to sign up.
  • Tennis Camp – this year tennis camp will be held during a better time slot so more people can participate and we’ve already gotten our pros lined up!  It’s going to be a great time!  The Lazy Webmaster* would like to note that he will get the information online ASAP.
  • Landscaping - if you were down by PORA as recently as Saturday, you probably noticed a lot has been going on!  A professional landscape designer graciously drew up some plans for us and we’re getting ready to make our grounds even more beautiful so keep an eye on the area for changes.

As you can see, we’ve been busy around PORA and we’re excited to see you there!
