Bootcamp

We all enjoy lounging by the pool all summer long, sipping our drinks and eating ice cream.   So to help ward off some of the lounge lizard affects caused by this sort of leisurely lifestyle why  not start your day by getting your blood pumping and your muscles flexing with a 45 min-long strength and conditioning bootcamp style workout!  The adults will take over the playground area working on pull-ups, squats, push-ups, sprints, box jumps and countless other core conditioning exercises.

And for all of you parents hanging out during swim team practice, you’ll have no excuse!  That’s right we’ll be working out while the kids are busy swimming!

Particulars:

  • Tuesday and Friday mornings during swim team practice – begins May 31st
  • $8 for PORA members/$10 for non-PORA members per class, drop-ins welcome.
  • All levels of athletic ability are welcome
  • Bring plenty of water and a towel
  • Bootcamp time is 9:00-9:45am.  Please note the new time!
  • Additional time slots to be added if interest.
  • Workouts will be structured and led by Curt and Chris Disser.  Curt is a CrossFit Certified Level 1 trainer.  Chris is AFAA Certified.
